By now everyone has either heard of Dj Mustard or have stumbled across some of his production on the radio or YouTube. In my opinion, here are the top 5 resosns why is a fkn genious.

1) MUSTARD ON THE BEAT!

If you don’t know who he is, you have at least probably heard this ‘tag’ on all of his production. So catchy in fact, that you probably have caught yourself saying it at the beginning of songs that he had nothing to do with

2) HE HAS BROUGHT SIMPLICITY BACK TO BEATS

no doubt if you’ve heard his beats that you have said to yourself “man, who made this? A fifth grader?” His beats are stripped down and usually only have about 2 or 3 parts/instruments….and that’s a good thing because he has made it easier for up-and-coming artists to compete

3) HE IS EVERYTHING WHERE

Every other Damn song/single on the radio is a mustard beat

4) HE IS THE “IT” PRODUCER

producers have 15 minutes like every one else and right now. He is the go to producer…just like Scott storch, just blaze, and Swizz beatz was

5) RADIOS HAVE TO PLAY HIM

of course radio has the power not to, but when you are the IT producer and all of your beats are of the same tempo, you force djs to spin your records because it’s easy to mix
